アルメニアの土着品種アレニを100%使用し、伝統的なカラスという甕で造った、フルボディの赤ワインです。樹齢130年の古木より収穫し、カラスで発酵後、アルメニアンオークの樽で14ヶ月熟成します。鮮やかなルビー色で、赤いベリーの風味に、スパイスやオークのアクセントが加わり、酸味と上品な果実味のバランス、滑らかなタンニンが特徴で、余韻が長く続きます。マッシュルームのリゾットや濃厚なローストミートとよく合います。
ヴォスケヴァズVoskevaz
アルメニアの首都エレヴァンの郊外、アラガツォトゥン州ヴォスケヴァズ村を拠点とするワインメーカーです。中世アルメニアの建築に着想を得て、買収したソ連時代のワイナリーを拡張し、城のような外観に刷新しました。 アルメニアの土着品種に特化し、カラスという伝統的な甕を用いた製法や、ブドウを陰干しにするカハニ製法の復活にも取り組んでいます。
